Every great invention first began with an idea. This spark of imagination has it’s home in pure creative energy. This energy is available to all of us. Whether you have always dreamt of writing a great novel or inventing Zen Fireflies that dance in the night, you owe it to yourself to let your imagination take you there.
Think for a moment what life would be like without imagination. In Stone Age times we would be barbarians sitting around a cave, freezing our butts off, because no one had the bright idea to start a fire. In today’s world we use our imagination less as a way to survive, and more of a way to reach for the stars-to live fully each precious moment on earth.
Albert Einstein hit it on the head when he said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For while knowledge defines all we currently know and understand, imagination points to all we might yet discover and create.”

Mercury goes retrograde 3 times a year; this time it starts on May 27 and it will last until June 19. As usual it is about a 3-week period. What does this mean?
As the name (Mercury Retrograde) implies - it has to do with the planet Mercury. A common misconception is that the planet, Mercury, actually moves backward. In fact it just appears to do so. When we humans observe the planets around this time of year, what we are seeing is Earth and Mercury moving in combination around the Sun.
Even though there is no actual backwards movement, this period warrants our consideration. Nature is giving us clues, and if we implement the appropriate action, our lives can be so much easier.Mercury is known for representing communication and all processes involved with the mind’s participation - studying, signing of contracts, legal matters, business transactions, etc.
The retrograde part is a blockage, if you will - in other words, anything associated with the actions in the previous paragraph will not run smoothly. Your efforts will be thwarted-people will change their minds, cars will break down, and static will replace clarity.

Giving feels good. Whether it is a beautifully wrapped gift or a genuine smile it is a wonderful feeling knowing that you made the recipient’s day a little brighter. In an effort to help you come up with some creative ways to give here is my list:
1. The next time you go out to eat by yourself, leave a really big tip. If your meal was $10.00 leave a $10.00 tip. Write a nice note on the back of the check or on a napkin that the server can read. Express your appreciation for the great service they provided. Use their name on the note for a personal touch - their name is usually typed somewhere on the check.
2. Put a Greeting Card in your outgoing section of your mailbox. Add a note on the envelop that the card is for your mailperson. It doesn’t have to be a particular Holiday…just because. As long as the message is uplifting, your hard working postal worker will get the message. Just imagine the warmth they will feel to see that you thought of him (or her).
