When Nature Speaks, Listen

The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature.

-Anne Frank

When nature speaks, it is good to listen. Listening is not all that easy sometimes, but sometimes the messages we get are hard to ignore.

Last night I heard about a story that fell into the “hard to ignore category”. A lady who was followed a certain uncommon spiritual path was looking through emails from an online social group that she had joined.

Friends

I recently reconnected to my best friend from high school. I hadn’t seen or spoken to her in nearly 25 years, and I was beginning to doubt that I ever would.

We connected via the social networks online. I believe it was first Facebook, which led me to Classmates.com, which led me to LinkedIn. It was funny because I chatted with people along the way, who told me that she was looking for me, too. This information met more to me, than I would have thought.

My friend, Joyce, was like a sister to me. I have a sister (a wonderful girl, who I adore), but Joyce really knew me, like no one-our bond was sacred and true.

When we graduated from high school, we stayed in touch a bit after we both moved out to northern California. She actually wound up marrying a guy I used to date. One of the last times I saw her was at their wedding.

I found out later, that Joyce and [George] ended their marriage, but only after they moved to the Napa Valley area, and wound up becoming highly successful in manufacturing. Joyce is remarried now with a teenage son.

I sent her a birthday card last week. I was so grateful to know where to send it.

It is so rare to come across a true friend in this life. A person who knows your vulnerabilities, and shares many of them with you. A person that understands that the mistakes you make do not define you, but turn you into a more well-rounded individual. Joyce is that person to me…
Of course, husband, Mark is my best friend, too. But the whole “spouse” friend is different. Sacred and special in its own way, I am just as grateful for that.

I look forward to seeing Joyce (and her husband). It turns out her husband skis every January in Colorado (near where we live). How cool is that?

I can’t help but think my reconnecting with Joyce has something to do with my recent disconnection with another girl I had a friendship with. This friendship could be classified as toxic-although that seems a bit extreme.

The truth is she drove me crazy. When I spoke with her it was like a whirl wind of All My Children meets General Hospital, and the main character was her. I still love this girl-God knows I have my self-involved moments!

The point is just as some of my “friends” started to ignore my calls during my toxic days, so did I with this lovely girl. I wish her nothing but peace, and I am confident she will do just fine.

That’s the way life is…one door closes, and another one opens. I look forward to seeing what’s behind all the doors that lie ahead.

Manifest-Passive-Income

Recently something really great happened. Some time opened up in our busy schedule and Mark and I have been able to concentrate on our passion, which is manifesting passive income–and then showing others how to do it.

We have a website which we have been working on the last week or so-you can check it out if you go to http://www.Manifest-Passive-Income.com

Mark and I just started this site so we have a long way to go, but we are having a lot of fun with the process.
In addition to the website, we are also going to be presenting a seminar near our home in Denver, Colorado about manifesting passive income. Like I said, it is a passion of ours. It’s not so much the money…it is the time and freedom that come along with the flowing of it, that makes the manifestation of passive income such a great gift in our eyes.

Money is a touchy topic for many of us-some think it is the root of all evil, some are jealous that others have more of it than than they do, some wonder why it is so hard to hold on to, like flowing water, it seems to run right through our fingers the tighter we hold on to it. I certainly have my own issues when it comes to money.

What I am starting to understand more is that money, like all of us human beings, is a constantly stimulating electric currency (energy), and it flows in and out of our lives responding to the energies that we are transmitting. Our energies percolate as they react to our feelings. Positive feelings attract positive cash flow, just as positive feelings attract and pull positive-like-minded people and positive circumstances.

Sounds a bit simplistic doesn’t it? Well, I believe life is more simple than we try to make it. We create so much chaos by drumming up worst-case scenarios in our minds, that it is no wonder we do not have the kind of life we had imagined for ourselves.

But, hey, this is just my belief. It’s really kind of a new age form of faith. I am going to run with it, till I feel like it’s not working for me anymore. I figure the worst that can happen is I will be having positive thoughts and feelings all day long…

Till next time…
